Amends AS 26.05.260(i) to allow members of the organized militia to receive allowances during active state service authorized by the governor or adjutant general, on the same basis as state officials and employees under AS 39.20.110-39.20.170

Removes the previous prohibition that prevented pay or allowances for Alaska State Defense Force members engaged in training or community service activities

Applies to each day of active service under AS 26.05.070

Effective date is July 1, 2023
