AK HJR14

Reduces the maximum duration of regular legislative sessions from 120 consecutive calendar days to 90 consecutive calendar days.

Retains the ability to extend a regular session once for up to 10 additional consecutive calendar days with a two-thirds affirmative vote in each house.

Requires the legislature to adopt deadlines for scheduling session work consistent with the reduced session length in its uniform rules of procedure.

Amendment applies starting with the First Regular Session of the Thirty-Fourth Alaska State Legislature and thereafter.

Requires voter approval at the next general election to become effective.
