AK SB111

Amends AS 24.10.120 to allow legislators to request early receipt of their total annual salary before June 1 of that calendar year.

Requires legislators or their estates to repay the state on a pro rata basis for any portion of the calendar year during which the legislator does not serve in office.

Disapproves the salary recommendations for governor, lieutenant governor, department heads, and legislators contained in the State Officers Compensation Commission's final report as amended on March 15, 2023, overriding the standard 60-day review period.

Takes effect immediately upon passage.
