Changes the disabled veteran state park permit from an annual permit to a lifetime permit valid for the life of the permit holder.

Permits allow disabled veterans free access to state park developed campsites and parking and restrooms of developed facilities for personal recreation use.

Department shall automatically renew permits every five years upon receiving confirmation of the permit holder's mailing address.

Department must prepare an annual report by February 1 detailing the number of permits issued to disabled veterans during the previous calendar year and notify the legislature.

Act takes effect January 1, 2025.
