Amends AS 47.07.036 to authorize the Department of Health to apply for a section 1115 waiver under federal law (42 U.S.C. 1315(a)) to establish demonstration projects.

Allows demonstration projects to focus on addressing health-related needs and supportive services for medical assistance recipients in specific geographic areas.

Defines "health-related needs" as social or economic conditions contributing to poor health outcomes, including nutrition, food security, workforce development, transportation, temporary housing, and case management.

Permits the department to target one or more groups of medical assistance recipients and one or more geographic areas with these demonstration projects.
