Establishes the state Artificial Intelligence Task Force within the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development to investigate AI and recommend policies for responsible growth, government use, and regulation.

Task force composition includes 12 members: two state commissioners, one IT expert from executive branch, representatives from organized labor, civil liberties organizations, technology industry (3 positions), University of Alaska, Alaska Broadcasters Association, and four legislative members (2 senators, 2 representatives).

Task force must study AI development and use including benefits and risks, evaluate potential AI applications in state government with fiscal impact analysis, and determine whether state regulation is needed.

Requires annual reports to the legislature by December 31 in 2024, 2025, and 2026 including AI development summary, proposed regulation changes, identified risks and benefits, and recommendations on ethical AI development.

Task force automatically repeals January 19, 2027; act takes effect immediately.
