Exempts veterinarians licensed under AS 08.98 from registering schedule II, III, and IV controlled substances prescribed or dispensed to animals in the state controlled substance prescription database.

Removes the Board of Veterinary Examiners from the list of professional boards that must be notified when a practitioner registers with the controlled substance database.

Repeals AS 08.98.050(a)(10), which previously required veterinarians to comply with controlled substance database reporting requirements.

Takes effect immediately upon enactment.
