Establishes a Joint Legislative Task Force Evaluating Alaska's Seafood Industry to address the economic crisis affecting the state's seafood industry caused by increased operational costs, high interest rates, decreased consumer demand, and global market changes.

Task force shall develop a long-term vision and evaluate public policy options addressing government assistance, community impacts, harvesting/processing/marketing coordination, new product development, marketing improvements, product quality, and strategic planning for the seafood industry.

Composition includes eight members: the senate president as chair, three additional senate members appointed by the senate president, and four house members appointed by the speaker of the house.

Members must objectively evaluate and support the statewide seafood industry as a whole rather than particular regions or harvesting sectors, with administrative support provided by senate and legislative affairs agency staff.

Task force shall submit a final report of findings and recommendations to the legislature by January 21, 2025, and is terminated at 11:59 p.m. on February 1, 2025.
