Authorizes the Senate or House of Representatives to recess for more than three days during the First Special Session of the Thirty-Third Alaska State Legislature, which was called by the Governor on May 17, 2023.

Requires both houses to concur in any recess period exceeding three days, as mandated by Alaska Constitution Article II, Section 10.

Permits the finance committees of each house to continue meeting on budget matters covered in the Governor's May 17, 2023 proclamation during the legislative recess.

Finance committee meetings are authorized to continue until June 16, 2023, while both houses remain in recess.
