• Requests the Coast Guard include modern vessel monitoring technologies operating 24/7 and establish regional response equipment hubs throughout the state leveraging local community and vessel operator resources for rapid marine casualty response.

• Urges the Coast Guard to maintain uniform standards across the Western Alaska and Prince William Sound Captain of the Port Zones without creating new subzones and to minimize cascading equipment from outside the state.

• Requests inclusion of local service providers with expertise in wildlife capture, care, and rehabilitation in oil spill response regulations.

• Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to Coast Guard leadership, Alaska state officials, and Alaska's congressional delegation.
