Reduces the minimum service requirement for firefighters to qualify for the workers' compensation disease presumption from seven years to six years

Changes the required medical examination frequency from annual exams during the first seven years to exams at least once every two years during the first six years of employment

Maintains the existing presumption that respiratory diseases, cardiovascular events within 72 hours of toxic exposure, and nine specified cancers (including brain cancer, melanoma, leukemia, and breast cancer) are work-related for covered firefighters

Post-termination coverage continues at three months per year of service, capped at 60 months maximum following last date of employment

Takes effect immediately upon passage
