Native village corporations organized under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act that have been involuntarily dissolved may now apply for reinstatement at any time, removing the previous two-year deadline and the December 31, 2020 cutoff date

Reinstated corporations and their shareholders retain all rights, privileges, liabilities, and obligations as if dissolution had never occurred

Corporate and shareholder actions taken during the dissolution period are validated retroactively

If a corporation's previous name is no longer available upon reinstatement, the board of directors may independently adopt a name change amendment without standard procedural requirements

Takes effect immediately upon passage
