Requires supervising physicians to have at least 5 years of prescribing experience and submit recommendations to the department on whether to grant, deny, or extend supervision for the naturopath's endorsement

Establishes continuing education requirements of 60 hours every 24 months for license renewal, with at least 20 hours on pharmacotherapy, and requires current CPR certification

Prohibits endorsed naturopaths from prescribing controlled substances, poisons, cancer chemotherapeutic drugs, or antipsychotic drugs, and maintains existing restrictions against surgery and therapeutic radiation

Makes practicing naturopathy without a valid license or prescribing drugs without a valid endorsement a class A misdemeanor punishable by up to $1,000 fine, up to one year imprisonment, or both
