Department of Family and Community Services must develop a shared screening methodology with agency partners and advocacy organizations to identify child victims of sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and commercial sexual exploitation within one year of the act taking effect

Shelters for runaway minors must screen all minors at intake and whenever circumstances indicate heightened risk for sexual abuse, sex trafficking, or commercial sexual exploitation

Children committed to state custody must be screened at initial commitment and whenever the department receives information suggesting possible victimization

When a missing, abducted, or runaway child in state custody is located, the department must investigate their experiences during absence, determine contributing factors, and screen for sexual abuse, sex trafficking, or commercial sexual exploitation

"Commercial sexual exploitation" defined as sexual abuse or exploitation of a child for financial benefit or in exchange for anything of value
