Requires the Alaska Department of Education and Early Development to develop an opioid abuse awareness and prevention curriculum for students in grades 6-12, with at least 60 minutes of annual instruction

Curriculum must cover dangers of opioid use including fentanyl, opioids designed to look like candy that target children, the science of opioid use, prevention strategies, and early warning signs of addiction

Department must consult with the Department of Health, state and tribal entities with overdose prevention experience, and family members of overdose victims when developing the curriculum

All school districts are required to teach the curriculum to grades 6-12, timed during or near the last week of October each year
