Individuals whose criminal convictions are vacated or reversed become eligible to receive permanent fund dividends for each year they were previously disqualified, provided charges are dismissed or they are found not guilty on retrial

Eligible individuals must apply for back dividends within one year of the dismissal or not guilty finding

The dividend calculation formula is amended to account for payments to individuals whose convictions have been overturned when determining the total amount available for distribution

A transition provision allows individuals whose dismissal or not guilty finding occurred before the act's effective date to apply within one year after the act takes effect
