Increases occupational disability benefits for peace officers and firefighters from 40% to 75% of gross monthly compensation after the first 12 months of eligibility

Applies to employees in the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) who are peace officers or firefighters at the time of termination due to disability

Grants full vesting in employer contributions when a member is appointed to disability status

Requires employers to continue making contributions to disabled employees' individual accounts and on their behalf during the disability period, without deduction from disability payments

Takes effect immediately upon passage
