Requires training in dementia and Alzheimer's disease care, including knowledge of dementia-related behaviors and activities of daily living (eating, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting)

Training must cover effective communication with clients who have psychosocial needs, mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or cognitive impairments

Effective date: January 1, 2027
