Electric utilities are shielded from liability for any damage or injury caused by portable solar generation devices that meet the exemption requirements

"Portable solar generation device" is defined as a moveable photovoltaic device designed to connect through a standard 120-volt AC outlet and offset part of a customer's electricity consumption
