School districts, interscholastic activity associations, and the University of Alaska may only require immunizations using vaccines that have received full FDA approval, excluding vaccines authorized under emergency use authorization

Health care providers must give parents or legal guardians of minors a copy of the CDC statement describing risks and benefits before administering any vaccine to a child under 18

For vaccines authorized due to a public health emergency, providers must instead provide the FDA's emergency use authorization fact sheet to parents
