When drivers travel more than 10 miles to pick up a rider, the company must compensate them at the IRS standard mileage rate plus Alaska state minimum wage for time spent traveling

Compensation for distances over 10 miles also applies to return trips—either back to where the driver received the request or to the next pickup location if more than 10 miles away

Tips paid by riders cannot be counted toward the company's required compensation obligations to drivers
