Agricultural products grown outside Alaska are prohibited from being certified to use the "Alaska Grown" logo

Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development is authorized to sell promotional merchandise featuring the "Alaska Grown" logo and charge fees for sales and licensing

Merchandise must be priced to ensure a reasonable monetary return to the state

Promotional merchandise sold by the commissioner must, to the extent practicable, be produced or manufactured in the United States and procured from Alaska bidders or entities employing prisoners under state correctional programs

New provisions apply to contracts related to the "Alaska Grown" logo entered into, renewed, or amended on or after the effective date
