Requires each Alaska school district to establish a department-approved personal finance education program for students in grades 9-12, equivalent to a half-credit course

Mandates completion of the personal finance program as a graduation requirement for high school diplomas, with an exemption for students who transfer into the district after completing grade 10

Covers 15 required topics including budgeting, credit management, loan applications, insurance, federal income taxes, fraud avoidance, savings and investments, retirement accounts, and postsecondary financial aid

Includes Alaska-specific content on financial implications of Alaska Native corporation membership under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act, such as dividends and share issuance

Takes effect July 1, 2026, applying to students graduating on or after January 1, 2027
