Requires public schools, postsecondary institutions, and competing private schools to designate all athletic teams as male/boys, female/girls, or coeducational

Students participating on female-designated teams must be biologically female, determined by sex organs, chromosomes, and hormones at birth; schools may verify using original birth certificates

Prohibits government entities, athletic associations, and school districts from taking adverse action against schools that comply with these requirements

Creates private cause of action for students deprived of athletic opportunities due to violations, and for students who face retaliation for reporting violations; two-year statute of limitations applies

Preserves rights under federal disability laws (IDEA, ADA) and maintains access to state and federal courts
