AK HB45

Requires the U.S. flag to be displayed in a prominent position higher than any other flag when displayed by governmental entities in Alaska

Prohibits governmental entities from displaying flags representing political viewpoints, including those concerning race, sexual orientation, gender, partisan affiliation, or political ideology

Grants active or retired members of the U.S. armed forces and National Guard immunity from civil or criminal liability for using reasonable force to prevent desecration, destruction, or removal of the U.S. flag (unless ordered not to by a peace officer)

Defines "governmental entity" to include governmental agencies, local governments, public schools, and public colleges or universities

Takes effect July 1, 2025
