Urges U.S. Congress to immediately appropriate $20,000,000 authorized under the Alaska Natural Gas Pipeline Act (15 U.S.C. 720-720n) for workforce development to train Alaska residents for the Alaska LNG project

Targets training for adult and dislocated workers, including Alaska Natives and rural residents, for construction and operation of the natural gas transportation system

Encourages Alaska LNG project sponsors and contractors to prioritize hiring trained state residents and contracting with state-based small businesses

Notes existing state training centers have infrastructure for skilled craft training but lack funding for large-scale programs without federal support
