Alaska Legislature affirms commitment to diversified energy strategy including fossil fuels, renewables, critical minerals, and hydrogen production to benefit all regions of the state

Urges federal government to provide permitting coordination and disburse previously appropriated funds for natural gas development and critical infrastructure projects

Directs state agencies to coordinate energy and economic planning with goals by 2035 of creating 1,200 new ventures, attracting 30,000 working-age residents, generating $5 billion in economic growth and $400 million in new public revenue

Encourages governor to establish a task force before the 35th Legislature to provide recommendations on energy and mineral sector development, including hydrogen production from natural gas, renewables, and geologic sources

Affirms principle of energy equity to integrate rural and Indigenous community priorities into state energy planning, including affordable local power and workforce development opportunities
