Applauds the U.S. Senate's passage of the Enhancing First Response Act (S.725) and urges the House of Representatives to pass the same or similar legislation

Reclassification to "protective service occupation" would provide telecommunicators access to the same benefits as law enforcement and firefighters

Current clerical classification limits access to benefits and hampers recruitment and retention of dispatchers in Alaska
