Requires the University of Alaska Board of Regents to notify all enrolled students via email at least 30 days before imposing any new fee or fee increase

Email notifications must specify the fee amount, the reason for the fee and how revenue will be used, and whether the fee is permanent or temporary (including expected end date if temporary)

Requires the University of Alaska to provide each enrolled student with an itemized billing statement breaking down tuition and fees charged

May be cited as the "Student Fee Transparency Act"

Takes effect July 1, 2027
