Establishes state policy encouraging all Alaska residents to learn about the distinct cultural heritages of Alaska Natives and American Indians in a culturally responsive manner

Requires local educational institutions to cooperate with tribes when providing instruction, implementing educational goals, or adopting education-related rules to include information on Indigenous cultural heritages and contemporary contributions

Mandates that all school personnel gain understanding and awareness of Alaska Native and American Indian tribes to help them relate effectively with Indigenous students and parents

Requires every local educational institution to consult and contract with local tribal entities to provide training for school personnel on Alaska Native and American Indian cultures
