Requires each Alaska school district to establish a financial literacy education program for students in grades 9-12, with curriculum approved by the Department of Education

Mandates completion of the financial literacy program (equivalent to one-half credit hour) as a requirement for high school graduation, beginning with students graduating on or after January 1, 2027

Curriculum must cover 15 topics including budgeting, credit management, federal income taxes, loan applications, personal insurance, retirement accounts, avoiding fraud and predatory lending, and postsecondary financial aid

Includes Alaska-specific content on financial implications of membership in Alaska Native corporations established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act

Department must curate and update (at least every five years) a list of open educational resources for districts to use; transfer students who completed grade 10 elsewhere are exempt from the requirement
