Requires all Alaska municipalities to waive building fees, permit fees, plan review fees, inspection fees, and other related fees for home modifications made to accommodate a disabled veteran's disability

Disabled veterans or their caretakers must provide proof of veteran status and attest that modifications are necessary to accommodate the disability; municipalities determine what constitutes adequate proof

Defines "disabled veteran" as an individual who served in the U.S. armed forces, National Guard, or reserve units and has a physical or mental impairment substantially limiting one or more major life activities

Applies to both home rule and general law municipalities throughout Alaska

Effective date: July 1, 2026
