Expands the Local Boundary Commission from 5 members to 6 members, with the new position designated for a representative from the unorganized borough

Extends member term lengths from 5 years to 6 years

Changes chair selection from automatic appointment of the at-large member to election by commission members from among themselves

Requires all members to maintain principal residence and voter registration in their represented district (judicial district or unorganized borough)

Takes effect January 31, 2026, with existing member terms unaffected by the changes
