Prohibits the Department of Law and the Attorney General from representing or advising the governor, lieutenant governor, or any other current or former public officer who is the subject of an ethics complaint

Amends AS 39.52 (Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act) by adding new section 39.52.165

Requires public officers facing ethics complaints to obtain private legal counsel rather than using state legal resources
