Urges the Governor, Department of Natural Resources, Department of Public Safety, municipalities, and Alaska's Congressional delegation to prepare for the 2025 wildfire season in high-risk wildland-urban interface areas including Anchorage, Fairbanks, Kenai, and Soldotna

Calls for comprehensive interagency wildfire response plans, equipment reviews, identification of additional water storage access points, and inspection of aircraft landing zones and evacuation roadways before May 1, 2025

Recommends expanding public outreach through programs like Firewise USA and Ready, Set, Go!, conducting multi-agency tabletop exercises and live evacuation drills, and modeling scenarios for road closures and ember-caused fires

Requests securing additional ground and aerial firefighting assets stationed near high-risk areas, establishing new water reservoirs for bucket operations, and implementing advanced fire detection technology with community-wide emergency notification testing

Urges Alaska's Congressional delegation to advocate for increased federal funding for wildfire prevention and mitigation efforts
