• Amends Alabama Code Section 11-98-4 to require bonding for emergency telephone district employees who receive or disburse funds.

• Each bonded employee or official must be covered in an amount not less than the total funds received by the district in the prior fiscal year.

• District must pay for all bonds and maintain copies on file at both the district offices and the county judge of probate's office.

• Applies to any employee or official involved in fund receipt or disbursement in any manner.

• Effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
