HB389 - Monroeville Annexation

• Alters the boundary lines of the City of Monroeville, Monroe County, Alabama to include existing corporate territory plus 5.42 acres of contiguous land.

• The annexed territory is part of the Raymond and Thomas Broughton Property located in the North half of Section 22, Township 7 North, Range 7 East, Monroe County, Alabama.

• The property boundaries are referenced to the Limestone Bridge project plat recorded with the Alabama Department of Transportation District 8 Office in Grove Hill, Alabama.

• A map showing the proposed annexed territory is on file in the office of the judge of probate in Monroe County and is open to public inspection.

• The Act became effective upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law (House passed 28-JAN-10, Senate passed 25-FEB-10).
