Alters and extends the corporate limits of the municipality of Lake View in Tuscaloosa County to include a specified parcel of land in the NE 1/4 Section 29, Township 20 South, Range 5 West.

Annexed territory shall be subject to all laws and ordinances of Lake View, with the mayor and council exercising full jurisdiction over the annexed area.

Legislature finds the annexation is expedient and necessary for promoting public welfare and facilitating municipal services, particularly to serve the Lake View municipal complex.

A map showing the proposed annexed territory is on file in the office of the Judge of Probate in Tuscaloosa County for public inspection per Alabama Code Section 11-42-6(b).

Act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
