Amends Section 31-5-3 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to add the Alabama Alliance of the Military Officers Association of America, Inc. to the list of veterans organizations authorized to nominate members to the State Board of Veterans' Affairs.

Board membership is apportioned based on each organization's resident membership as of July 1 of the appointment year, with one representative for each 7,500 members or fraction thereof.

Each nominating organization must submit three veteran nominees for each board position to which the organization is entitled, with nominations reflecting proportional representation of all wars included in the organization's membership.

Board membership must be inclusive and reflect the racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity of the state.

The act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
