• Amends Section 17-3-8 of the Alabama Code to increase the maximum meeting days for the Talladega County Board of Registrars from 168 days per year to 220 working days per fiscal year.

• Authorizes the Talladega County Board of Registrars to meet an additional 30 session days per fiscal year at the discretion of the chair of the county commission.

• Removes Talladega County from the group of counties limited to 168 working days and places it in a new category with Tallapoosa County, both authorized for 220 working days plus the discretionary 30 days.

• Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
