• Allows consumer members of the Board of Examiners of Assisted Living Administrators to vote in all matters before the board, rather than being restricted from voting on licensure and discipline matters.

• Requires applicants for assisted living administrator licensure to pay an annual administrative fee as determined by the board.

• Requires persons holding expired licenses to pay a reapplication fee established by the board in addition to submitting a new application and following all new licensure procedures.

• Authorizes the board to discipline practitioners who have entered pleas of nolo contendere, nolo contender, no contender, no contest, or guilty in cases involving lewd or lascivious acts, inappropriate sexual conduct, or any crime punishable by imprisonment exceeding one year.

• Effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
