Commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Brindlee Mountain Saddle Club, formed in 1960 by horse enthusiasts in Alabama communities including Allens Crossroads, Oleander, and Union Grove.

Club became officially incorporated in 1966 and purchased five acres of land in 1989 from Melvin H. Whisenant for $1.00, where it continues operations.

Recognizes the club's charitable work expending thousands of dollars to assist poor and unfortunate citizens during Christmas and times of need in Marshall and Morgan Counties.

Honors founding members including Melvin and Myra Whisenant, T. H. "Butch" and Tommie Dunn, David and Mary Couch, J. B. and Dorothy Clark, J. R. and Ruth Barclift, James "Redtop" Dunn, Fred Daugette, and Troy Whisenant, plus honorary lifetime members.

Alabama Legislature recognizes and commends the Brindlee Mountain Saddle Club for its good works and 50th anniversary with gratitude for aid given to Alabama citizens.
