Commends Fayette County High School majorettes selected to join The University of Alabama Crimsonettes, the university's majorette squad.

Five Fayette County alumni are currently performing as Crimsonettes: Anna Ellis, Carly Oswalt, Laina McDonald, Jessica Hardin, Skye Weaver, and Amy Pennington.

Since 1983, a total of 23 former Fayette County High School majorettes have served as Crimsonettes, an unmatched record by any other high school.

Credits Fayette County's school system, middle school through college level, and dedicated band directors for developing an exceptional majorette program.
