House Joint Resolution mourning the death of Anola Francene Holly of Jackson, Alabama, who died on December 12, 2009, at age 51.

Holly served as a City of Jackson Councilwoman and held leadership roles in civic organizations including the Order of the Eastern Star, Clarke County Alumni of Alabama State University, and National Association of Social Workers.

She was a dedicated employee of the Clarke County Department of Human Resources and active member of St. Union Baptist Church, serving as church announcer, choir president, and youth mission counselor.

Holly is survived by her son Lev Holly, Sr., mother Lillian Lucille Bush Holly, sisters Karen Smith and Sheryl Whitmore, and brothers Samuel, Eric, and Gerald Holly, among other relatives and friends.

Legislature records Holly as a valued community member whose presence will be greatly missed, offering this resolution as tribute to her life and sympathy to her family.
