Honors the memory of Amelia Forte', a 20-year-old native of Thomasville who passed away untimely.

Acknowledges Amelia's Christian faith through New Greater First Baptist Church in Thomasville and her education at Thomasville City Schools and Alabama A&M University.

Recognizes her surviving family members including her two children (Amiah Jeau Hicks and Rondrick Kentell Irby, Jr.), parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and special godparents Marshall and Teri Pritchett.

Extends deepest condolences to her family and memorializes her as a person who embraced life and returned her best self to those around her.

Adopted by the House on February 25, 2010 and adopted by the Senate on March 23, 2010.
