Greene County High School Basketball Team won the 2010 Class 3A State Championship with a 61-44 victory over Madison Academy.

Three senior players—QuaShawn Carpenter, Neiko Hunter, and Pierre Crawford—were named to both the All-Tournament and All-State Teams, with Neiko Hunter earning Tournament MVP honors.

Team finished the season with a 23-7 record under coaches Rodney Wesley, Jeffery Wesley, Darryl White, Johnny McAlpine, and Garry Rice.

The Alabama Legislature formally congratulates the Greene County High School Basketball Team on their state championship achievement and extends best wishes for their future endeavors.
