Recognizes Henry County Deputy Ted Yost as a nominee for the 2010 Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, Alabama's highest law enforcement award for extraordinary courage in the line of duty.

On April 24, 2009, Deputy Yost was shot twice in the face with a 12-gauge shotgun while responding to a routine dispatched call and was ambushed from the side of a mobile home.

Deputy Yost lay critically wounded for almost an hour before other officers responded to the call for aid.

Ten months after the shooting, Deputy Yost was in the process of slow recovery but had not yet been able to return to work.

Directs that Deputy Yost receive a copy of the resolution as a token of the legislature's admiration and esteem.
