Recognizes Mobile Police Officer Brandon Nykori Sigler as a posthumous nominee for the 2010 Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, the state's highest law enforcement award.

Officer Sigler responded to a disturbance call at Tyler Ridge Apartments in Mobile in June 2009 while off-duty serving as a courtesy officer and was fatally wounded by gunfire while intervening to protect residents.

Commends Officer Sigler for making the ultimate sacrifice to protect citizens and reflects credit upon the Mobile Police Department and law enforcement profession.

Directs that Officer Sigler's family receive a copy of the resolution as a token of the legislature's admiration and esteem.

Adopted by the House on 09-MAR-10 and the Senate on 23-MAR-10.
