Recognizes Geneva Police Chief Frankie Lindsey as a nominee for the 2010 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, the state's highest law enforcement award for extraordinary courage in the line of duty

Commends Chief Lindsey for his actions on March 10, 2009, when he participated in a high-speed pursuit and exchanged gunfire with a gunman responsible for the deadliest crime in Alabama's recorded history

Notes that during the engagement, a lone gunman murdered 10 victims and injured 6 others in Geneva and Coffee Counties before taking his own life, and that Chief Lindsey was struck by a bullet during the pursuit

States that Chief Lindsey's courageous and selfless actions likely saved the lives of several additional victims

Directs that Chief Lindsey receive a copy of the resolution as a token of the Legislature's admiration and esteem
