Commends Investigator Steve Johnson of the Russell County Sheriff's Department as a nominee for the 2010 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

Recognizes Johnson's 15-year career with the Sheriff's Department, including his roles as a S.W.A.T. Team member, U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force participant, and Rappel Master.

Acknowledges Johnson's instrumental work beginning in January 2008 investigating multiple church fires in Russell and Lee Counties, ultimately obtaining a confession despite minimal physical evidence.

Directs that Johnson receive a copy of the resolution as a token of the legislature's admiration and esteem.
